Keeping with My Theme

“S” is for summer vacation, sea, sand, seagulls, staying up late, snacks at the pool, and snoozing in the sun.

Oh yeah, and “See ya!”

We will be at the beach all week.

I have already promised myself to be “blog free.”

(Who knew blogging could be so addictive?!?)

  1. What beach did you spend your vacation at?

    1. Myrtle Beach. We had the best weather. It was cooler there (low 80s and low humidity) than at home!

      1. Never been to an East Coast beach … part of our vacation was a couple of days at beaches near San Luis Obispo. Cooler weather, but not intolerable.

      2. I don’t know where that is??? The Atlantic Ocean isn’t that “pretty” but it is fun.

      3. It’s on the central coast of California between San Francisco and Los Angeles. It’s a very nice place to be. Lots of beaches and typically doesn’t get very hot.

      4. I have dipped my toes in the Pacific Ocean at Santa Monica Pier but that is my only experience with the west coast.

      5. The Santa Monica Pier isn’t a bad place to experience the Pacific, but I prefer beaches north of the L.A. area. A little colder, a little more dynamic, more beautiful. If I could, I’d be living on the Oregon Coast.

      6. It was my only trip to California. We had about two hours to spend out that way. I would love to go back and see other parts. Someday…

  2. So I got sucked into those Versatile Blogger Awards and nominated you on my blog, feel free to check it out or ignore, I just like taking the chance to share blogs I enjoy reading, like yours!

    1. Oh Olivia! What a huge compliment! Thank you so much! I will check it out. I just for home from the beach and have professional development today. I am excited to catch up on things around here. Again, thank you!!!

  3. It’s so addictive that I usually write my posts ahead of time when I know I’m going to be gone and schedule them to post on each day! LOL. Enjoy your vacation!

    1. I wanted to do that but packing got in the way.
