Weekly Photo Challenge: Movement

Few things say “movement” more than my 9-year-old Tweedle Ian. I had oodles of photos to depict his constant movement from basketball to baseball to playing in the yard. This boy never stops.

However, I love the irony of this photo taken in Corolla, NC two summers ago. He is still and the water is moving all around him. He reminds me of a sorcerer commanding the movement of the ocean.

Every time I look at it, I want to say, “That’s right buddy. The whole world can be yours.”
