This is the first Christmas vacation we’ve ever actually gone on “vacation.” We went to Virginia to see my family and were so lucky that my nephew decided to come a few weeks early! Break was great and I’m sad that it’s about over. But we have a two-day week so it’ll be nice to ease back into things.
Vacation kicked off with my birthday celebration. This painting was a gift from my boyfriend. It says, “It’ll cost nothing to dream…and everything not to.”
Christmas morning!
Only an hour into the big snowstorm that threatened our trip to Virginia two days after Christmas.
Hanging out in the airport was much more fun with a new iPod Touch from Santa!
My new nephew! Only 10 days old.
Holding the tiniest little guy I’ve ever seen.
Tweedle Dee meeting her new cousin, Ryley.
Is there anything more precious?
So nice that Ian and my nephews got to spend time ogether.
My poor cat….I accidentally turned the heat off for 5 days instead of turning it down. Ellie enjoyed the electric blanket when I got home!
I spent New Year’s Day organizing my kitchen.
Ellie thinks this empty space is for her, but in reality, it will be home to a dishwasher hopefully soon!
