Looking ahead to the last three weeks before the OAAs, I am going to be hitting on a few final things.
Next up: Text Structures.
Be warned: I had to put in an annoying, but popular Spongebob segment, because I felt like this Prezi was lacking as far as media. This commercial is strategically placed right before I ask students to do more practice!
I’ve also created a page for all my Prezis, which you can see in the menu bar at the top of my blog.
What’s next?
I might go back and hit Author’s Purpose again.
Story elements?
Maybe I’ll make a hodgepodge of OAA type questions.
Suggestions? Requests?
I’m open to your ideas!
[…] go along with my Prezi, I decided to create mini-lessons for the five text […]
I’m SO excited!!! Olivia was the one who passed this on to me, and it was perfect because this is exactly what I was teaching this week! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for making my last minute lesson planning a little easier! My 4th graders were able to make a little more sense of text structures through this slide show! Kudos to you!
Awww…they are my little guinea pigs!!! 😉 I haven’t taught it yet since we are still on break. If it worked with your 4th graders, I think it will be great for my resource room! Thanks for the feedback!
This is probably one of your best yet! I think I will assign this Prezi to my kids through Edmodo. I will have them identify the last three paragraphs and justify their answers. This will serve as a review before FCAT. Thanks for your hard work!
Great idea to assign this on Edmodo. This Prezi definitely works in that way. I am going to see if I can put links on a Prezi and make a web quest of sorts.
You are making my test prep so much better– thank you!
